These are client interaction products that are built utilizing best of breed Content Management, Data Management, Integration, UI and CRM software. They need someone who understands these types of products, how they go together and how to tweak them to solve customers’ business problems. They need an experienced pre-sales person who can answer questions regarding data integration and reporting. You need to be somewhat of a tinkerer for the nature of these problems are diverse and require being able to identify and employ a variety of software tools very quickly. $100K base plus bonus. Their SE’s are bright, technical savvy and have worked for companies like Avaya, Rightnow, e-Gain, Kana and Talisma. They play a strategic role in the sales process and are expected to get to know their customers’ business problems and crafting targeted point solutions for them. The product is sold to contact centers in insurance, healthcare, finance, manufacturing and hospitality. They require 3 to 5 years of pre-sales experience supporting complex e-service or CRM type software products. $110,000 base plus bonus.
